Playing as the Thalmor - posted in Skyrim Mod Talk: The Live Another Life mod allows you to start in the Thalmor embassy if youre a High Elf. Unfortunantly, theres nothing in-game you can really do from there. Mods that add quests Ive seen pertaining to the Thalmor all involve wiping them out. Ive tried doing some roleplay, pretending Im a covert agent of sorts, assassinating NPCs I find out. The previous character playthrough I did, it was with Alternate Start and I too chose the Whiterun beginning and owning Breezehome. I felt it fit in with my character who was going to dominate the land with his accomplishments and he was a typical Nord, so I felt Whiterun was the most appropriate.
